Does this work for SCSS / SASS / LESS?

Plain CSS only. Preprocessor syntax (nesting, @mixin) is not understood — compile to CSS first.

Will it preserve CSS variables and @media queries?

Yes — custom properties, media queries, container queries, and at-rules are preserved.

How aggressive is minify mode?

Strips all comments, collapses whitespace, removes the last "}"-preceding semicolon. Safe transformations only — does not rename selectors or collapse shorthand.
